I am relisting this car because of a non-paying bidder. This Audi TT will be a great car for somebody. It is relatively low miles (about 90k), has a super clean interior, and a sound system with subwoofer. The car runs and drives, the transmission shifts well and it builds boost like it should. There are, however, a number of issues that will need to be fixed. The largest issue that prevents me from driving this car long distances is that the cooling fans will not turn on. I believe the cooling fan controller is bad, as the fans will run when wired directly to a battery. There are a number of other electrical issues as well - the gauge cluster does not work, there is a miss at idle, a drain on the battery when the car is off, and the car has underglow, but it is not working. Additionally, the power brake booster is not working - the brakes work fine, but need a lot of pressure on the pedal to stop. I would be comfortable driving this car a long distance after installing a temperature gauge and wiring the fan to a switch. This would be a great car for someone who wants to spend the time fixing the items above, or is looking for a low mileage drivetrain. This car is sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. I am happy to have folks inspect the vehicle before bidding and am willing to work with a transport company so they can pick the car up, if it is being shipped. Fun In The Sun… Top down and off you go in a zippy little TT convertible that runs great and is a fraction of the cost of those expensive new car payments. Mechanically the car feels great with a strong turbocharged 4-cylinder that is quick, sounds good, doesn’t show any puddles underneath and only a faint odor of oil when it first warms up which isn’t anything serious. The 5-speed gearbox feels great, clutch grabs strong and it goes through all the gears smooth as silk. The brakes and suspension feel good and tires are nice all around with approximately 50% tread. There are no warning lights illuminated on the dash. The interior is very healthy with clean black heated sport seats, immaculate carpets, clean dash and the windows, locks, power top, and stereo work as they should. The body of the car looks decent with shiny silver paint, top is nice with no splits, no major signs of rust and aftermarket wheels look snazzy. There is a dent/scuff on the driver’s rear quarter, cracks in several places on the front bumper, a crease and cracking paint on the rear bumper and a few panels with faded clear coat. All-in-all, a sporty little summer cruiser that you can enjoy and will be sold with no reserve so thanks for looking and good luck with the auction. Wholesale & Prior to Re-Conditioning The cars you see on our eBay auctions are what we would call “raw trade-ins” from the new car dealers. These are cars that have not been cleaned, have not been run through shops, and have not been repaired in preparation for a sale. Buying a car in this Wholesale Capacity allows you to buy the car for less money and me to do less work. There will be assumed costs on minor defects and routine-maintenance items that come with being used. If you are receptive to buying a car in this fashion, the savings are yours. Because we sell our cars all over the world and in every state, inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is virtually impossible for us to guarantee inspection. Motor Vehicle & Issuing of Plates Within walking distance of our car lot, there is a Pennsylvania-state motor vehicle agent that will issue Pennsylvania license plates and out-of-state temporary 60 day plates for the state fee of $70. They will accommodate all our customers within their normal business hours which are 9-5PM on weekdays and on Saturdays from 9-12PM, same as our hours. You can of course bring your own license plates / temporary tags if your state allows. It is mandatory that if you need plates you bring with you your drivers license and your insurance card for your present car. Names, addresses and dates must be valid on both items.
